Mission Statement

Peki Association of North America (PANA), New York Chapter, is in its infancy. PANA was formed from an evolving effort among Peki natives resident in the United States of America. The New York Chapter was recently registered with the State of New York and hopes to cater for the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and possibly Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. The Chicago Chapter is the other group and growing strong. PANA (NY) received its Not-For-Profit status certification with the Federal Government in February 2003.

PANA is needed to provide a forum where the members can unite and cooperate to enhance the socio-economic development of Peki and promote the welfare of the members. It is usually a pleasure to meet one of your kinds: from your hometown, an old school mate, a former co-worker and so on.

Aims and Objectives

Once the Association grows it will embark on many of its proposed projects including building community centers and hotels in the Peki area. The Association will also continue in cooperation with others to acquire hospital equipment and other supplies for the region. Other plans include establishing scholarship funds for aspiring bright minds from the region. These ideas are not exhaustive, but PANA will make the Peki region its charity and do all it can towards bringing basic amenities of food, clothing, water, employment and good health to the region.
